This was the worst experience I have ever had with a solicitor. I was passed to a new trainee solicitor 4 different times. On the day of completion I was told that they couldn't send the funds as they had forgotten to give me one form. I rushed to the office to sign it and was promised by Patricia Thornton it would be done that day. The funds never reached me. I was very disappointed but promised the next morning. The funds never came and I had to make an official complaint. The funds are yet to reach us!

This re-mortgage process has taken 3 months where a trained solicitor would have done it properly from the start and complete within 4 weeks.

I would highly recommend MW solicitors, they gave good value for their very professional work. Our solicitor Samantha really went above and beyond to ensure that the purchase and sale of our houses went as smoothly as possible. We were in a chain of 5 properties and when it nearly collapsed due to errors elsewhere in the chain Samantha was pro active and directly communicated with others to make sure the chain did not collapse, and crucially - she always answered the phone when we needed to speak to her. People dont realise when choosing solicitors that the cheapest companies dont assign a solicitor to you to speak to directly which can be really costly when there are complications and time pressures. Had we have gone with a less good solicitor I really think we would have lost our house.

I found the service from this company poor. My case was a combination house sale and purchase, which was allocated to a trainee solicitor as soon as my cheque was cashed. This individual was poorly supervised, resulting in many delays during the sale and purchase process, mainly due to a failure to ensure I had been provided with all of the necessary paperwork to make everything go smoothly.
